Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice released with high expectations of being excruciatingly difficult. So far, it has passed those expectations by a long shot. Personally, I would rate this being my favorite game of 2019.
Like most games, Sekiro became even more popular when mods starting invading the game with all sorts of crazy creations. The modding community of Sekiro grew stronger than ever once it went viral, as Shrek was found running around in the world. It doesn’t stop there either, after the craze of people wanting the game to be easier, modders created something for that, and even gave the game graphical improvements.
The most recent mod everyone has been raving about is my absolute favorite. Fans of Nier: Automata decided to give 2B a shot at slicing up enemies, and honestly, it’s brilliant!
Nier: Automata was my game of the year back when it released in February 2017. The gameplay was something different, it always kept you on your toes. And the soundtrack was by far the best of that year. The game grew to have a large fan base, and fans have still been asking to see more of that world.
Yet, 2B’s world is vastly different from Sekiro, and sadly her mechanics as well. If you get this mod, don’t expect her to have her drone shooting at enemies. She won’t have all her special robotic sword skills either, nor will her partner 9S be following her around.
Playing as her made me want to jump right into combat in her style of fighting. But that would be cheating, and would surely get you killed in the process. You’ll have to let Sekiro’s gameplay do the trick.
Although, I must say she does fit into the world nicely, unlike Shrek. If you want to give this mod a shot, you can find it over at Nexus Mods.
